Follow what your hands do
Notice where keys, a bag and a jacket naturally end up. Arrange storage around these movements rather than imposing a system that requires several extra steps. A useful solution often begins with watching the existing routine.
Give each surface one job
A narrow tray can hold small essentials while a hook takes a frequently used bag. Avoid filling the entire area at once. The entrance needs enough open space to accommodate a wet coat, a parcel or an unexpected visitor.
Review it after a week
See what has accumulated and what has remained empty. Adjust one detail at a time. A calm entrance is not necessarily a minimal one; it is a place where the everyday things can land without blocking the next arrival.
